i’m a former teacher, department store perfume girl, waitress and wedding singer, now mother of 3 living in kansas (a rather nice place to live, no matter what anyone tells you).
i love to write about krispy kreme, my netflix queue, battlestar galactica, worldwide flickr domination, ginormous purses i have known, pbs kid programs i despise, bad haircuts, my thrift-store addiction, stuff i might sew someday, the eternal remodel that is my house, various adult beverages and plucking my grays.
my husband is an artist, my children are homeschooled and my piano is a baldwin hamilton 243. my home is a ranch pretending to be a cottage and my sewing room is chaos on a good day. i love color and music indiscriminately and believe fashion and fun are where you find them. hopefully, on sale.

what is a robot, jumping rope? sometimes as a mom I feel like a few tons of rusty metal attempting the impossible.
