We had to memorize our song (just one page) and I was so sure I knew it, i played other songs before we left for the recital. I got out on stage and, yup you guessed it, forgot my song completely. Had to leave the stage without playing anything. Horrible first experience (but completely my own making), and I wonder why I don't play anymore :) I remember my first piano recital.
