Filed under: family, glimpses of us, things making life better

How are things?

We’re enjoying the increasingly-warmer days here in flyover country, our study of the Celts (Boudica rocked, y’all), ginger spice cookies, new Dover coloring books, good music, thinking of the garden and planning our vermiculture experiment (looks easy enough, don’t you think?)

The Artiste celebrated his 37th, my mother her 75th, we all endured 3 long weeks of bronchitis and its accompanying misery. My bloglines list is so long I’m avoiding it completely for now. BSG is still the best show ever. Don’t laugh! Watch the miniseries and get back to me! You’ll see.

Remember these? Sold some of them on eBay and cleared $200. Yes, you should look for the premiere issue of MSL at every garage sale this summer cause it’s worth some CASH. Especially if it contains the original star stencil. Word to the wise.

Let’s see, what else….oh, I’ve decided to stop coloring my hair and just let it go gray. I’ve been faking it with L’oreal chestnut browns for almost a decade so it’s gonna be strange. But kind of cool. No, you didn’t really need to know that but I’m SHARING here.

Bought my tickets to Mexico, got my passport, working on bathing-suit readiness. Oy vey.

Started exercising again (see bathing-suit readiness above).

So that’s an update. Easing my way back in. Blogging takes time. And there’s not much to photograph - February in Kansas is the ugliest possible month.

Hope everyone is healthy and optimistic and enjoying these days. Haven’t replied to emails but you know I like you all so very much and thanks for commenting.

Up Next: opening the door to my craft/sewing room for the first time since Christmas…o my!

Yea! I used some of your fabric. It’s on my blog today. Welcome back, sweetie. Happy March-eve.

You’re right, BSG is so FRACKIN’ good! I used to call it Dorkstar until I got sucked in. Now my husband’s all, “In your face!”
I had the first issue of Nest Magazine and gave it to my mom to recycle. Saw one go on Ebay for $100. Still trying to put it out of my mind.

Oh! It’s good to see you back.

My husband and I LOVE BSG. Love it! We don’t have cable though so we have to wait until this season is out on DVD. : ( Something to look forward to I guess. Anyway, welcome back! Glad you are feeling better.

Feb./March is pretty ugly here in WI too. But in KS you should be having lots of little signs of Spring soon. Please share with the rest of us because it will be May before we see them here.

Blessings friend,

Glad to see you

Glad to see you’re back. Just wanted to let you know we do vermiculture in a big way!! Two HUGE bins and the results are GREAT for the garden. My hubby says he read it’s 10X more ‘nutritious’ than regular compost! …and it’s fun to see what sprouts up from your kitchen scraps too.

Um, oops. That was me just above. I was signed into my mom’s account trying to help her with her blog.
Just so you’re not left wondering about some mystery blogger!
