doesn’t she look calm and relaxed, just sitting there? wishing for more of these moments right now.

we’re busy at my house. as in “no time to check even my most favorite blogs” busy and “no time to turn on my sewing machine” busy.

it’s lots of good stuff but school, mostly. My kids are in the thick of a large amount of memory work (poetry! addition tables! months of the year!) and I am doing my best to stay with the program and be their dutiful instructor. It’s time-consuming, and it’s all we do some days, other than three meals, laundry for 5 people, keeping the germs at bay and fighting the lack of sun problem i deal with - although the homemade light box is helping a lot more than expected.

anyway, must limit my internet time for now (tearfully and with longing looks) and am bidding you farewell for just a few days, my pretties ~ be well and stay warm. I’ll be back on my blogging feet in no time.

xxxx

I like the new banner! And I’ve missed you coming ’round, but you have many important things going on. Be sure to take care of yourself, too.

oh my! so many fun things being learned over there! I look forward to having you back in blogging land soon. And by the way, that is a BEAUTIFUL painting! Who is the artist?

What did you make your lightbox out of? I’m thinking we need to go for a walk outside as soon as the weather permits. It’s been so gloomy. Love the painting!

I’m glad you checked in. Take all the time you need… keeping up is hard to do when you have a heavy load.

I should just copy your text and plop it on my blog. My daughter has been begging me to home school her also, so now things are in flux around here again. I am hoping that once we get into a schedule I can get back into a rhythm of blogging and enjoying what everyone else is doing. I hope you are having a nice break and that the sun is shining for you every once in a while!

I know. I know you’re busy. I understand about busy. Really. But damn, girl, I miss you. I hope you’re well, not frozen, and that small children are reciting poetry for you and feeding you peeled grapes all day long while you try on new shoes and get your fingernails painted. XOXO
