What a beautiful post! I’ve got tears in my eyes. He sounds so much like my favorite uncle! What a special person to have as a brother. Thanks for sharing this. ;-)

one more thing, do you have photos from this lovely sounding wedding of yours? I love photos. Do share, if you’re comfy with it, k? So demanding am I.

You have such a way with words that allows us to see the memories as you tell them. I love that. I could picture just about every moment as I read them . What emotion it produced. I’ve got a friend like your brother..the best person I know. People think they are different..but if we could only be more like them..the world would be a better place. Thank you for “sharing” your family with us..they seem grander than grand if you know what I mean ;)

I think I’m in love with your brother, your Grandma and you.

(I need to adopt your Grandmother’s attitude some more and apply it to every aspect of my life.)

Beautiful. My brother lives on a farm (which belonged to my paternal grandparents), but he is certainly not a farmer in the vein of your brother. Thanks for sharing.

We should all be so lucky to have someone like your brother in our lives. I was moved and encouraged to keep persuing the simple beauty of a life well lived.

I think I forget sometimes at how peaceful it is to live in the everyday and not get caught up in it. Thanks for sharing a part of your life.
